At our roastery within HMP The Mount, we not only roast all our coffee but also provide employment opportunities for up to five prison residents at a time. We teach them practical skills in coffee roasting, production, and logistics, which boost their confidence and self-esteem. We pay above the standard rate for prison employment, with a portion of wages saved for access upon their release, providing them with a head start in reintegrating into society.
