Session Overview

Whilst financial profit can never be guaranteed through any investment, there is such a thing as ‘money best spent’ with an educated and considered approach to fine art. We have identified specific criteria used to best assess the ‘value’ in purchasing an artwork, equipping new collectors with what they need to purchase a serious and lasting example of great work.

Our lecture and discussion will cover the benefits of spending on something beautiful and culturally significant, understanding how to navigate the freneticism of the market, identifying personal taste and values and achieving self-awareness, and finally explaining the criteria and why each is crucial in assessing an acquisition. Our presentation will regularly incorporate new examples and relevant market information to benefit returning guests.
